Is Avalon Acres available for rent?

We are happy to host your event at Avalon assuming it feels like a good energetic fit for us and for the land. 

How do I know if my event would be a good fit for Avalon?

We ask that anyone who is thinking of hosting an event at Avalon come out to the property to meet with Mary Katherine and Michael to discuss your plans. We will know by the end of the meeting if the event feels like one we can move forward with.

How many people can Avalon host for an event?

The maximum number of people we can accommodate is around 30.

How much does it cost to rent Avalon?

We ask for a contribution on a sliding scale depending on the size and scope of the event. Small events that last only a few hours would range from $25 to $75, while larger events are open to negotiation. We are also very willing to receive a percentage of events that require a registration fee, with one-third being a good starting point for discussion.

How does insurance work?

Avalon Acres covers your event with our general liability policy. We ask that for any event involving physical activity on the land that participants complete a waiver form that we are happy to supply.

Can my guests stay overnight at Avalon?

There is a tiny house at Avalon that can be included in the rental for an additional $75 a night. Other participants can camp on the land (rate to be negotiated).

Does Avalon provide a restroom for events?

If the event is small (12 or under), participants are welcome to use the bathroom in the Avalon farmhouse annex. For larger events, organizers will need to look into renting a porta-potty.

Can I offer food at my event?

Avalon does have a kitchen in the annex with a working stovetop and microwave (no oven). We do have a canopy, folding table and chairs that can be used to accommodate a small group.  Extra rent may be required for these items depending on the scope of use.
